Music creates order out of chaos;
for rhythm imposes unanimity upon the divergent,
melody imposes continuity upon the disjointed,
and harmony imposes compatibility upon the incongruous.
-Sir Yehudi Menuhin
I don't know much about music and although I've had a few years of piano, I'm not very good at making music. However I do know that I like to listen to music sometimes.
This page used to have a listing of my favorite songs, but as of 2008-06-2 I moved them to a spreadsheet: GH Music [http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pYBfwK2ycWbLI9iALJlJdVA]. It's a fun little activity and it might be useful if I ever have to reconstruct my music collection or if I wanted perspective on what to get or listen to.
I have been tempted to delete this page many times because I don't have the time to do the topic justice, even if I try to present just my point of view. However I think it would be beneficial for my musical education and self examination if I persist in trying to do this page.
