HTML Editors
- Any text editor. EGs: Emacs, gedit, Notepad, TextEdit, UltraEdit, vi.

- PageMill --> Folded into GoLive
- HomeSite. Lighter than Dreamweaver.
- Contribute
- Dreamweaver
- Aptana [aptana.com]. Free (libre & gratis). --> Bah! Aptana can't even do word wrap!
- Microsoft
- Notepad
- FrontPage --> Retired and replaced with Expression
- Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005 Express
- Visual Studio
- Mozilla
- Composer (part of the Mozilla Suite) --> Folded into the SeaMonkey suite --> Modifies your code too much.
- Nvu [nvu.com] by Linspire --> Practically retired

- Tiny MCE [tinymce.moxiecode.com]. I've personally used this to build several content management systems (CMS).
