VB

Exploring Microsoft Visual Basic (VB), including VB6, VBScript (VBS), and VB .NET. This is one of my older sections and is mostly about VB6.

If you are new to VB, I suggest you learn it in this fashion:

• Get some basic programs working using VB's built in controls.
• Move up to making a few of your own classes and objects.
• Move up to making your own COM and ActiveX components.

While you do two things:

• Dabble here and there in different things.
• Don't fret about the things you don't understand because it will come to you if you stick with it. It's like Woody Allen says: "Eighty percent of success is showing up.". It's also like reading a big novel: Eventually you figure out who's who.
